CME dairy prices were mixed Thursday at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, with some contracts firming while others eased, according to exchange data.
Dry whey increased $0.0125 to $0.6825, with one trade reported at that price.
Forty-pound cheese blocks slipped $0.0125 to $1.5325. Two trades were reported between $1.5325 and $1.54.
Cheese barrels edged down $0.0050 to $1.5475, with one sale recorded at that level.
Butter fell $0.09 to $1.48. Five trades were reported in a range from $1.4575 to $1.48.
Nonfat dry milk rose $0.0525 to $1.50, with eight trades executed between $1.46 and $1.50.
