IEEE voter turnout incentives will be offered in this year’s IEEE annual election, with the IEEE Tellers Committee set to recognize Sections in each Region that achieve the highest participation rates based on total eligible voters. Awards will be distributed after the Board of Directors accepts the election results. The Tellers Committee manages the initiative and retains full authority over the program’s rules, operations, and decisions.
IEEE voter turnout incentive guidelines
The incentive levels are tied to Section size, with cash awards to the top performer in each size category within every IEEE Region:
- Large Sections have more than 1,501 eligible voting members. The top large Section in each Region will receive US $1,000.
- Medium Sections have 501 to 1,500 eligible voting members. The top medium Section in each Region will receive $600.
- Small Sections have 500 or fewer eligible voting members. The top small Section in each Region will receive $400.
