LS ELECTRIC G100 is being promoted by LS ELECTRIC America as a compact General AC Drive designed to deliver flexible motor control across industrial and commercial uses.
The low-voltage variable frequency drive is aimed at OEMs, system integrators, and facility teams working with conveyors, fans, pumps, and general machinery. The company says the G100 enables standardization on a single drive family while accommodating differing motor-control requirements.
LS ELECTRIC G100 features and design
The drive combines a small footprint with functions intended to simplify installation and operation. Most models include a built-in EMC filter to limit electrical noise and support applicable standards. Models for 200 V service are available without the integrated filter.
Designed to UL 61800-5-1, the G100 includes a Safe Torque Off function. STO allows torque to be removed from the motor without cutting main power, offering another option for implementing safer stopping functions in equipment.

Installation was a design focus. Compact dimensions and DIN-rail mounting can help reduce panel space, while an optional conduit box offers additional protection for wiring connections.
A speed potentiometer on the keypad lets operators make manual adjustments during setup and maintenance. Flexible I/O, analog inputs, and programmable relays allow the G100 to interface with PLCs, sensors, and building automation systems.
The drive also features what the company calls an Advanced User Sequence, providing basic PLC-like functionality within the drive. Users can configure it through DriveView9 software and multi-function digital input terminals.
Integrated PID control enables the drive to regulate variables such as pressure or flow, which may reduce the need for external control components in applications like pumping and ventilation.
