Securitize Corp. stock climbed as investors reacted to regulatory progress and new analyst coverage, with Cantor Fitzgerald initiating the shares on September 21 at Overweight and a $21.20 price objective. The firm pointed to Securitize’s role in bringing traditional financial assets onchain, a market it described as early in its adoption curve.

According to Cantor Fitzgerald, traditional financial assets total roughly $319 trillion globally, while about $39 billion currently exists onchain. That equates to approximately 0.01% of the overall market. The onchain tally has nearly tripled over the past year even as the broader crypto market capitalization declined from around $4 trillion to under $2.2 trillion.

The research noted it took Securitize seven years, along with approvals from five regulators, to build its regulatory perimeter. It said the company’s combination of licenses and technology integrations is among the widest in the sector.

Cantor Fitzgerald characterized tokenization as the most significant modernization of financial infrastructure in a century. Based on its sector outlook, the firm said Securitize appears attractive at current levels.

Securitize expands onchain assets despite softer results

Securitize began trading on the New York Stock Exchange on July 2, shortly after the close of the second quarter, becoming the first tokenization company to list publicly. The exchange is operated by the New York Stock Exchange.

The company reports about $5 billion in assets managed onchain, with more than seven individual assets each exceeding $100 million in assets under management. Securitize said this exceeds any other platform and that its reinforced balance sheet positions it to lead the next leg of institutional tokenization growth.

For Q2 2026, Securitize said average tokenized assets under management rose 16% year over year. That asset growth did not carry through to revenue. Total revenue decreased 5% year over year to $14.4 million.

Losses widened during the quarter. Net loss increased 253% to $21.69 million from $6.15 million a year earlier. Adjusted EBITDA fell to a loss of $5.5 million compared with positive adjusted EBITDA of $1.8 million in the prior-year period.

The company said it is focused on expanding revenue by investing in its businesses, strengthening capabilities, and pursuing future opportunities. As it scales as a public company, achieving positive adjusted EBITDA remains an important near-term goal.

While tokenized assets are growing, recent financial results show that has not yet converted into stronger quarterly revenue or profitability. Cantor Fitzgerald’s constructive view rests largely on Securitize’s early position in a potentially much larger tokenization market, similar to how Palantir AI sovereignty strategy draws fresh Wall St. support reflects investor interest in emerging tech-enabled infrastructure.

That makes the shares a potentially appealing but higher-risk exposure to tokenization, rather than a proven earnings story today. Near-term performance could hinge on whether the company can translate its onchain asset base into durable revenue and positive EBITDA, as investors weigh the view from firms such as Cantor Fitzgerald.
